Extended Care Program

Monday - Friday , 7 - 8:30 AM and 3 - 6 PM

It is our goal at Rising Star School to maintain a quality educational program and meet the needs of our families and students. Rising Star School provides extended care as a service to parents who require safe, consistent care at a time when school is not in session. We understand that not all parents are able to take days off from work to care for their child(ren) and that finding care for one day can be difficult for you and hard on the child. We call these all day care days "Holiday Daycare" days.

Extended Care Program has grown over the years and now requires an extended Care Supervisor to better plan developmentally appropriate activities and to plan adequate staff for the safety and security of the children. There are daily activities such as: Arts and craft , Park Day, Music and movements, "Kid's Kusine", Table games and Performing Arts.

Extended care is available before school from 7:00 am to 8:30 am, and after school from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. "All Day" care from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm is offered on some holidays, Staff Development and Parent Conference days. The Extended Care Program is separate from basic school curriculum and involves a separate fee.
